Video Game Banned In India Because Of Gay Character

If you live in India, and if you have taken a liking to playing the hit game Dragon Age: Inquisition, then you are in for some really bad (and sadly homophobic) news. While the game has been released all over the world, it sadly skipped India.

The game's publisher, Electronic Arts, has decided to withdraw the game from India, saying that they’re doing so “in order to avoid a breach of local content laws.” Boo!

Previous Dragon Age games have featured queer content, but the new installment has taken it to the next level: rather than having an option for bisexual romances, Dragon Age: Inquisition features a gay party member named Dorian. Some say that this is the main reason why EA has pulled out the game from the Indian market.

An Electronic Arts rep told Kotaku: “The decision here is in relation to local obscenity laws, but not specific to same gender romance.” 

Is this claim for real? We are not sure. But we should take into account that Electronic Arts previously released other games with lots of sexual content (such as Grand Theft Auto V). At the same time, they still have other Dragon Age and Mass Effect titles in the market. Also, it looks like the Indian distributor, Milestone Interactive, mentioned in another publication that the gay content was to blame.

What a shame.

It goes on to explain it is a sweetener for both men and women. It will supposedly make their "secretions" sweet. A packet of ten "Sugar Cum" pills currently costs $19.99.

In my opinion, it will just make the "secretions" taste weird. But I suppose it's something that everyone can get used to eating, perhaps after a heavy meal.

Speaking OUT: Queer Youth in Focus is a photographic essay that explores a wide spectrum of experiences told from the perspective of a diverse group of young people, ages fourteen to twenty-four, identifying as queer (i.e., lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, or questioning). Paul Freeman's Collection Of Hot Guys

I was browsing through my Instagram account when I chanced upon the account of photographer Paul Freeman. I must say, his photography of scantily clad (and sometimes naked) men left me in awe.

Here's the description from his website:

As it turns out, he has already published and sold a bunch of books. Each one has a different theme, although I noticed that he has a few books on the Outback as well as on heroes. Just basing it on the samples he posted on his site (and his Instagram account), it looks like these photos are masterpieces that truly showcase the masculine body. Better than porn, if I must say so myself.

Solar Powered Power Bank For Your Phone

If you're a power user like me, you probably need to charge your smart phone about 3 or 4 times a day. It's a hassle (especially if you need to be away from your office or your car), but somehow we have learned to live with it. We manage to find a cafe or a corner in the mall where we can take a few minutes to charge. Leaving our adaptors at home will turn out to be a nightmare.

That's why I'm really interested in having one of these gadgets.



Now I'm not sure how well this product works, and I have never used one (or seen one for that matter). But in theory, you charge the thing using solar power (yep, the sun) and you use it to power up your drained mobile phone. No electricity costs, thank you very much.



It will probably take longer to charge this device using the sun than it will using an adaptor, for obvious reasons. I just browsed through the specs but I think there's an option to plug it on a wall socket, if putting it under the sun takes too much time.

$26.99 is also not a bad price for something like this. I think I'm gonna order one right now.
