It looks like the scandalous photo leak hackers have now started to target male celebrities, and it appears that Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star and B2K boy band member Omarion is first on the list.

Photos of a naked person who is presumably Omarion spread like wildfire on the the internet the past couple of days, and it appears that he could be the first of many male celebrities to be hit by this scandal. Fan reactions have been mostly curiosity and amazement. Several references have made about the size of his private part. Some even said it's "too good to be true" and theorized that the photo was photoshopped.

We all love a good scandal, but these recent celebrity privacy violations are downright criminal. They are everywhere, and by the looks of it, there are more coming! Interesting how no arrests have been made so far. I wonder what it will take for the responsible parties to be prosecuted. I also wonder if the people who took the photos are themselves responsible for the consequences of their choices.

Different opinions, different sides. These various voices have resonated on social media in a seemingly endless debate of who is right and wrong. Everybody with an account seems to have something important to say about the issue. It has become circus, and it doesn't look like it's ending anytime soon.

We have heard a lot of sympathetic voices, and those who are condemning the act of the hackers. Privacy, after all, is one of the most sacred things that each person is entitled to. It doesn't matter if they are celebrities who show their goods on TV anyway. They should still be given that choice.

Some people, however, took the issue with a more negative and aggressive tone. It even sounds like they are blaming the celebrities for being who they are, and for putting themselves in that situation in the first place.

Others found humor in the situation. The deed, after all, has been done and there's nothing much to do about it. Why not inject a couple of funny posts? These users took humorous shots at the celebrity victims, and some even hinted about wanting nude photos from the guys.

It looks like this fiasco isn't bound to end anytime soon, unless of course the responsible parties are put behind bars. But as long as there are people taking risque shots and people who are skilled enough to unearth these shots, we the spectators will continue to witness more things unfold. Whether we love it or hate it.

The new iPhone is out, and one of its main features is the user's ability to use a microwave oven to charge it! Crazy right?

Yep. Crazy is the right term. You are crazy if you actually fall for that crap.

Here's the "ad" that circulated the net, highlighting the new Wave feature.

It's almost believable (if you happen to like sci-fi movies) except for the fact that all you would need is to download a software. In essence, even your old iPhone 4s would magically acquire the remarkable feature! Who needs a charger if all it takes is a minute and a half in any microwave oven!

I personally got a little curious upon reading the fake ad, but immediately moved on to other things.  Who would fall for such a thing, after all.

Uhh...Okay. I guess I'll just take off with a reminder. Do. Not. Use. A. Microwave. Oven. To. Charge. Your. Phone.

9 Phone Problems Every Modern Guy Has

You just got your new iPhone from the mall, and are dying to try it out for the first time. You had a previous model that's still working fine, but figured that the new release would give you less problems. Guess what? Unless phone manufacturers unanimously decide that it's time to make "the perfect phone," you will probably end up with some (or all) of these phone problems even if you buy the most expensive model.


1. The Dreaded Empty Battery
No matter how diligently you charge your phone, you always find yourself stuck with the dreaded "empty battery" icon. Yep, that means you have a few seconds until your phone shuts down. Oh the horror! Whatever will you do without your precious phone? The next couple of minutes (until you find a charger and an outlet) will definitely count as some of the most horrible moments of your life!

2. The Accidental Photo Upload
In the middle of a steamy chat conversation with the hottie of your dreams, he starts asking you for a naked selfie. You happily oblige, using your Instagram app to take the photo. You take the sexiest shot of your life, use the application filters to make the photo look better, crop the edges... and accidentally post it online. Before you realize the error of your ways, you receive countless comments and "likes," including a text message from your mom.

3. The Charger Scavenger Hunt
Your phone dies, and you unwittingly left your charger at home. Just when you are expecting a phone call from the guy you met at the club last night. Disaster strikes and you immediately go into Superman mode. You run around like a crazy guy looking for a charger you can borrow. Everybody else brought their chargers of course, but as luck would have it they don't have one that fits your phone.

4. Missent Sext Messages
You wake up thinking about the hot night you had the previous day. You remember every kiss, every touch, every steamy detail. You instinctively grab your phone and compose a sexy message, with the hopes of re-living that moment. You press "send," and scream. Message Sent. To your boss. Or maybe something similar to the correspondence below.

5. The Icon Update
Every once in a while (too often, in my opinion), your favorite applications get an update from their developers. This means new challenges (for games), new bug fixes, and new features. They may also come with a new and improved icon: something that is totally different from the original one. Something that could easily get lost in the sea of downloaded apps. Something that will make you waste several minutes of your precious time. Irritating, right?

6. The Auto Correct
They didn't create entire websites full of "auto correct" memes for no reason. Instead of being a helpful tool, the auto correct has brought more misery than good. One letter can make a world of difference. Just look at the photo below and see what I mean...

7. No 4G Signal?
The latest sex video scandal has hit the internet, and you excitedly bring out your phone to search for the link. You just have to download it in the soonest possible time so you can brag about it to your friends. You paid a decent subscription amount so you can use the LTE function of your smartphone. Lo and behold, you have no 4G signal. You wave your phone around furiously trying to find a spot with a decent signal, to no avail. (Alternatively, your phone displays the 4G icon but your internet browser does not seem to agree. Crazy, huh).

8. 1% Battery Life 
The 1% battery life issue probably brings the user more stress compared to the dreaded empty battery. It brings with it the hope that maybe, just maybe, your phone has enough power to send that last text message or Facebook update. And then boom! Battery dead, and you have to redo everything.

9. Irritating Group Messages
Some guy thought it would be a smart idea and a great time saver to just send a group iMessage to everyone in his contact list. "Merry Christmas," says the message. And then everybody starts replying. About anything and everything. You will probably receive text messages from people you don't know until next Christmas.

5 Reasons Why You Shouldn't Chat With A Minor

Online chatting has become a means of free expression in an anonymous setting. Hidden behind a veil of secrecy, chatters are able to say things that they may never say in real life. They rarely think about what they say, how the things they say impact others, and what the consequences could be. They can pretend to be what they are not, and even tread dangerously on illegal areas. The chat room has become the breeding ground for predators and victims alike.

A reminder: your words can get you into trouble, even if you make it online. This is especially true when you are chatting with a minor. How you deal with a minor can lead to serious criminal charges, especially with sexually explicit content. As an adult, it is best if you never chat with minors online. Here are some of the reasons why:

1. Arranging a meet up could get you into trouble
In most countries, it is illegal to arrange a meeting with an underaged individual for lewd and lascivious purposes/sexual conduct. This could include the use of online chat rooms and even "wholesome" applications like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to contact the minor. In California, for instance, a conviction could result to a lifetime registration as a sex offender AND up to three years of imprisonment.

Action: Avoid adding minors (specifically those you do not personally know) in social networking sites.


2. Actually meeting the minor can get you into more trouble
As if three years in prison isn't bad enough, things could actually get worse if you go beyond just "arranging" a meeting to actually meeting the kid. Prison time could potentially increase, and so will your guilt. You can probably try to defend your honor if you just "plan" the meeting and not go through with it, but if you actually meet up with the minor the intent is pretty clear.

Action: Look for someone over 18 and meet up with that guy instead.

3. Sending sexual materials or engaging in cybersex with a minor could cause jail time

It is also illegal to send (and request for) erotic material and nude photos with the intent of arousing yourself or the minor. Any sexual activity via chat, voice call, or video feed also counts as a sexual offense. You will likewise get a lifetime registration as a sex offender on top of jail time.  

Action: Just use Google and search for adult sites to get your daily pornography fix.

4. Cops (or reality TV) could be setting you up
In the US, the police actually take an active participation in bringing online predators to justice. They troll the chat sites, plant their traps, patiently communicate with offenders, and tempt them with the promise of a hot sexual encounter. Once these unsuspecting adults decide to actually go for a meet up, they end up with the surprise of their lives when a man in uniform apprehends them. TV shows like "To Catch a Predator" also capitalize on such entrapment operations, bringing sexual offenders to justice and to shame.

Action: Watch reruns of "To Catch a Predator" and see how your life will look like if you get caught.

5. Parents are Always on the Lookout for Internet Predators.

Diligent parents do take precautions and check the online activity of their kids. They can browse through the search history and filters on their laptops or use special applications to monitor what their minor children are doing online. Seeing a chat history with a stranger will definitely raise red flags, and these parents could seek the assistance of the police to track you and press charges against you. Parents will go to any lengths to protect their children, and they will do everything in their power to see you humiliated behind bars.

Action: As soon as you discover that you are chatting with a minor, just STOP.

I just have to check Instagram once in a while to see if there are any new (interesting) photos of people trying to look like a celebrity. So without further a do, here are a few more #MakeUpTransformation photos for your viewing pleasure:

I love the detail and the effort put into making this post. It kinda makes you wonder if Jake Cuenca actually looked like that before he blow dries his hair.

 Another round of applause for this lady. It almost made me think that she was actually Angel Locsin. Almost. But not quite.

 Would you say that this guy and actor Jericho Rosales look a bit alike? Emphasis on "a bit." He should have used a more yellow background and a shirt instead of a sando. But kudos nonetheless.

  If actor Joseph Marco had a gay (face) side, he would probably look like this before he combs his hair and applies face powder.

 What can I say? Why do they all put that white cream-like substance on their faces for these shots? It reminds me of... of... oh well. Let's ask KC Concepcion. 

 Love the fighting spirit on this one. Is that Zayn from One Direction? Amazing what a good shave can do to transform how someone looks like. 

 A little blush on, some eye make up, a good lipstick, and a huge umbrella...ella...ella...eh eh eh. That's what it will take to transform into the lovely Rihanna.

 Nice effort. Next time, go the beach with this face on. People would undoubtedly think they are looking at Marian Rivera.

 As the saying goes: I-push mo yan, teh! Put on your big wig and expand those luscious lips to achieve a proper Angelina Jolie look.

 Where's the earring? hahaha. I love how he looks super serious, in contrast to the ever smiling Mr. Clean.

 For me, this shot takes home the bacon. I can just imagine how difficult it was to take a selfie shot while using dipper to pour water on himself. Marian Rivera would surely be proud.

I was still hung over about this whole sex tape issue, so I just decided to send out a shout out to ask this ever relevant question:

Would you ever consider making a sex video or not? Why or why not? Alone or with a partner? What would make you want to do this? What will you do with the video?

"I had a bad experience with it"

I got a really interesting response that merits its own blog entry. It’s about his actual experience with having a viral sex video. He started with these words:

“It can make you or break you. I had a video with my partner way back and it somehow went viral on this porn site. Back then I was in college and didn’t bother thinking any consequences of making that video. Now, I’m not considering making another one.”

I was intrigued and I was curious. And I wanted to find out more. So I asked a couple of follow up questions. I am amazed at how casual the conversation went; anonimity does have its perks.

Privacy is important to a lot of gay guys.

"I loved him and i trusted him"

It started as something that he and his boyfriend wanted to try out. He was in college then, and his partner was 4 years older than him. They agreed that the video should be kept private and between the two of them. It was exciting and it was cool and they both enjoyed making it.

Fast forward to when one of his friends approached him to say that his video has been posted online. It was clear enough and impossible to deny. To make things worse, some irresponsible members of the campus gay community helped spread it around.  It was not a good time for him. He confronted his partner and they ended up breaking up. Up until this day, he has no idea who posted the video. All he knows is that the copy leaked from is boyfriend.

Some people live a risky life.

Waiting for the storm to pass

A few months later, the issue died down after newer and more daring posts emerged. I asked him how he handled the situation. If something like this happened to me, I have no idea what I would do. He said that he just kept his mouth shut throughout the ordeal. He believed that saying something, anything, would just lead to other issues. He thought that it was better not to say anything and to just wait for the storm to pass.

He also had great support from his closest friends. Without judgment, they did their part by not spreading the links and helping to keep rumors at bay. It was not a good time for him but he somehow found the courage to push through and overcome the obstacles.

On regrets and moving on

When this all started, Oberyn did not really think about the consequences of making a sex tape. He trusted the person he was dating, and didn't think that there was too much to lose. To a certain extent, he was even cocky about making the video. Regret, as it turns out, bites you in the ass at the end. His sexual preference came out of the open involuntarily. He became the talk of the town. He was pushed into a situation that wasn't exactly preferable to him.

But he tried to move on.

You can never really leave something like this behind. He thinks that the website has already been shut down, and that his video is lost in oblivion. He does, however, think about the experience from time to time. There is always a dark shadow hovering behind him, of a possibility that this nightmare will somehow come back when he least expects it.
