Do Men With Big Feet Have A Tendency To Cheat?

We have all heard it before: If you have big feet, you must have big...shoes! Or something to that effect. Kidding aside, the misconception that the foot size is directly proportional to penis size is likely to have been going around since the middle ages, but I don't believe there's any scientific evidence supporting the claim.

Another study, however, may reveal the correlation between big feet and infidelity.

Dating website Illicit Encounters surveyed approximately 3,100, correlating shoe size with "interest in an extramarital affair." The results? They found that men with feet larger than size 10 are three times more likely to have an affair than men with size seven to nine feet.

Out of the men with size seven feet, only four percent reported they would cheat on their partners. Alternatively, 22 percent of size 11s and 16 percent of sizes 12 and 13 admittedly would be open to having an affair.

But what could be the reason behind this?

University of St. Andrews psychology and neuroscience specialist David Perrett had this to say: “Body proportions are related and big shoes will likely mean a bigger, taller body. Body stature will relate to personality. Size will enable individuals to dominate in social situations. Dominance itself may open opportunities for affairs.”

Which, in the end, doesn't really make a lot of sense. Let's just call a spade a spade, and conclude that men with bigger body statures tend to be more domineering, and are therefore more aggressive in terms of wanting extramarital affairs.
