Recently wed Neil Patrick Harris came over to the David Letterman show and talked about his Italian wedding to husband David Burtka. When asked how it was, here's what Neil Patrick had to say:

"It was fun, we've both been very busy, David and I, and we were looking for a time that was appropriate. We didn't want to have to do it just within a couple of days, and we wanted to do a destination wedding. Our first trip together was in Italy, so that seemed fun. And then the beginning of the year we knew a friend of a friend, a dude who had a castle, so okay that's fun."

Neil Patrick and David's first dance.

Sir Elton John was there, and he sang a couple of songs for the wedding. He was also the one who introduced the first dance, which was done with Kelly Clarkson's "A Moment Like This." Neil Patrick and David love fun and games, and they wanted to add fireworks at the crescendo of the song. They didn't expect much, considering the fact that they were at an almost secluded location. The moment, however, was magical.

The moment the fireworks came off.

Neil Patrick jokingly ended the interview by saying "Take that, Clooney," in reference to George Clooney's recent wedding (also in Italy).
