September 22 marked Miss Saigon's 25th anniversary, and the Prince Edward Theatre (London) audience got a special surprise. The original cast of Miss Saigon (led by Lea Salonga, Jonathan Pryce, and Simon Bowman) went on stage and performed for the crowd!

A few days ago, I posted a video of the performance of Lea Salonga (Kim) and Rachelle Ann Go (Gigi) singing "The Movie In My Mind," but I must say that this video is a much better copy! It also includes other performances from past and present incarnations of the cast!
The moment the show began, we can hear the crowd clap when a woman appeared on stage. When the lights went on and it was revealed to be Lea Salonga, the crowd just went wild. The audience also gave a big cheer when Lea and Simon Bowman (original Chris) sang "The Last Night of the World" alongside the current Kim and Chris (Eva Noblezada and Alistair Brammer). And all those kisses exchanged! Whew!
Jonathan Pryce, the original Engineer, also had a special moment as he sang "The American Dream" with Jonjon Briones (current Engineer).
Miss Saigon has a special place in my heart, and I loved every moment of the video. I was close to tears the whole time, and I don't usually cry.
