Ellen's "Gardener Nick" (aka Billy Reilich) has been making news not only because of his regular stint in Ellen, but also because he managed to get an audition for the movie Magic Mike XXL. The past couple of days, however, have been more controversial. It appears that Gardener Nick may be the subject of a naked photo set making its rounds on Tumbler.
(I won't post the Tumblr link, and I purposely covered the sensitive parts so the photos will be more suitable for this site)
While the similarities are trivial at best (and easily disputed), I have managed to gather comparative shots that would make you consider that these photos are indeed of our guy.
Exhibit A:
A comparison of face shots would reveal that the guy in the Tumbler posts look ridiculously like Gardener Nick. Maybe from a few years back, when he had more defined abs. Not sure why the first photo has a black line in the eye area, but it's safe to assume that it was meant to conceal the person's identity.

Exhibit B:
Check out the kitchen counter and drawers. The first photo was grabbed from the naked photo set, while the second one was taken from his Instagram account. The designs look suspiciously similar, huh?

Exhibit C:
Now take a look at the stove tops. Same black panel, same burners, same grills. Too bad the "science bitch" photo frame wasn't included in the first photo, otherwise it would be indisputable.

Exhibit D:
The back tattoo. In one of the more recent Ellen episodes, Gardener Nick's tattoo was put on the spotlight. It was used as a prop of sorts for the Friday joke segment. In the first photo below, there is a fuzzy tattoo right at the exact spot.
