Did James Franco Accidentally Post A Pic Of His Penis On Instagram?

Last week actor James Franco posted a couple of images of him and Seth Rogen in the nude. No actual private parts were shown (they got blurred out) making the posts safe to view at work.

Or were they?

As it turns out, "tip" was sent out to Gawker, prompting them to look into the matter more closely. Some guy with a keen eye for penises thinks that hidden in the darkness of the photo was actually a shot of James' dick!

Here's an edited photo which gives us a clearer look:

If you look closely, there seems to be "something" resting on his thigh, although it could be anything from a folded blanket and a fat thigh. But if you let your imagination go wild, it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume that this mysterious body part is James Franco's penis. And I don't think he was aware that he showed too much of himself when he posted the photo.

With too much time on their hands, the editors on Gawker went one step further and re-imaged how James would have positioned himself for this shot:

Not sure how that image helped in this "investigation," but I suppose it places the mysterious part on the "scene of the crime."
