If you were a Backstreet Boys fan like me, you've probably had romantic (and not so wholesome) fantasies involving the cutest of them all -- Nick Carter! Well guess what? That fantasy has (sort of) become a reality as Nick walks around on TV wearing nothing but a pair of white socks and a really tight blue thong!

This scene was documented for the world to see on Nick's reality series "I Heart Nick Carter." In this episode, he needed to wear a thong as part of a laser surgery consultation (to flatten his stomach). We also get a closer look at his bulge with a shot of him lying on the examination bed, seemingly oblivious of the number of people who will feast on his (half) naked glory!
His wife, Lauren Kitt Carter, had nothing but supportive words for his husband when asked to give a comment. She was quoted saying: "I can’t believe we are halfway through our season! Only 4 more episodes left! Let’s get right to it! DID YOU LOVE NICK IN THE BLUE THONG? I don’t even think I have a thong that small (or do I?)"

Quite predictably, the web had varying reactions to the blue thong. A bunch of haters called Nick out for for looking creepy in thongs, and even went as far as asking "when did Nick Carter become fat and stupid?"

On the flipside, fans have shown support and excitement over what they have dubbed as #BlueThongWednesday. For them, Nick remains sexy despite the "added body weight" and carried the now infamous blue thong like a superstar.
