News Flash: People With Guns in Edsa: Real or Hoax?

A Twitter user sent out this photo earlier today. This was supposedly taken along EDSA, near Ortigas Avenue.

It's curious how there seems to be no other photos (yet) floating around Twitter and other social media sites. It's also weird how there seems to be no traffic, considering that this photo was taken around 3 in the afternoon.

It's also weird how there seems to be no other witnesses, and no confirmed reports on TV. Could this be a hoax?
