It has been a decade since the first US State enacted marriage equality in law, and since then the direction has been to move forward with recognizing gay marriage. It's a slow process, and we have a long, long way to go. But at the same time, we have taken huge successes in our journey.
Richard Blanco, a poet involved in Barack Obama's inauguration in 2013, was tasked to write a poem to commemorate the decade. This video was the result. "Until We Could."
